Bram's Story

Bram Mous is a Dutch lawyer based in the Netherlands. He specialises in civil and criminal law, and describes his law practice as "similar to the book/movie The Rainmaker. I’m helping people with big problems but little money".

In parallel to his legal studies, Bram studied editorial design in Utrecht, and has been combining law and art ever since. The recurring theme in Bram's work is the consumer society, which has intrigued him since childhood. He calls himself a first child of the Nintendo prosperity. In his works, Bram combines natural materials and consumer goods to challenge the viewer's perception of prosperity in the current consumer society.
